An unhappy  little was looking for a comfy home to live in. 

One day he met a in a lily pond. 

"Can I be a frog and live with you in the pond?"   he asked. 
"No you can't", said the . "A pond is cold and wet, 

besides, you don't look a bit like me!" he croaked. 
Then he saw a singing in a tree. 

"Can I be a  and live with you in the tree?" 

he asked the bird. 
"No", chirped the bird. "Why not?" asked the sad little .

"You have no wings to fly way up here and anyway............
you don't look anything like me" sang the . 
The felt very sad and lonely until he met a . 

"Can I be a cat and live with you? I can see there's enough 
room in your big house!" asked the  unhappy  . 

"Meoooow......yes..... if you can catch a mouse and I guess you do 

look a little bit like me," was the 's  reply. 
"Oh...............I could never do that!" cried the . 
"Then you can't live with me," purred the . 
The felt even sadder but he kept looking. 
One day he met a happy little who looked a lot like him. 
"Why are you so sad?" asked the happy . 
"I'm sad because I can't live in a pond with a , 
I can't fly like a  and I could never catch a mouse like a . 
I just want to find a comfy home to live in", cried the sad little . 

"I live in a hole in the ground. It's quiet, warm and comfy," 
said the happy  . "Would you like to live with me?" 

They became very good friends living together. 

and played and laughed  in the all day 

and at night they snuggled in their comfy burrow listening to the croak on the pond. 
Now the sad little is a very happy little .
