I met a nice lady called Jeanie Johnson at PCLA & she wrote the following poems ....

Dedicated to Janine, a part of my soul at last found.

Half & Half

You are the other half of me
I've waited for eternity
To feel surprise so deep inside
To suddenly know you're standing there
The moment that you talked to me
I knew you held that special key
Which fit into my lonely heart
And touched this soul because you care

You drifted in on clouds of love
That came from fantasies above
I never thought my other half
Would whisper new life in my soul
But now I see that God is there
To answer every silent prayer
And brought to me my other half
To make my lost existence whole

And as our two halves meet as one
Our long love journey has begun
To carry us into the realms
Of far off distant sun drenched shores
And so as one we'll always stay
Our hearts united in this way
As half and half we make the whole
As spirit, mind and body soars

Unicorn Love

Down in a mystic magic dell
Where fairies weave their fairy spell
There lived a maiden young and fair
With deep blue eyes and long blond hair

And there she sat among the mist
Waiting for her first love's kiss
She sang a song with soft sweet voice
Which sounded like the angel's choice

And while she sang, there came along
A unicorn from Stardust's Dawn
It stopped and listened neath a tree
To her enchanting melody

When she looked up and saw it there
She ran dancing through the air
Up to the horse with silver horn
And large round eyes that looked forlorn

Around it's neck, her arms she flung
Somehow she knew it was the one
To pour her love on gleefully
As her heart soared so fast and free

She laid her head against it's neck
And stroked it's coat in soft caress
She showered kisses on it's nose
That felt softer than a new spring rose

And as she stood with sweet repose
In love's embrace, a mist enclosed
The maid and unicorn within
As magic spun it's fairy spin

And when the maiden looked to see
A Prince now stood beneath the tree
And held her in his strong embrace
And planted kisses on her face

He told her how the fairy spell
Had cast it's magic in that dell
And changed him to a unicorn
To wander through a life forlorn

But with her love and kisses given
The fairies spell had now been risen
And as their two hearts beat the faster
They knew they'd live happily ever after

I Look At The Moon

I look at the moon, that's fading too soon,
And see you there.
I treasure the touch, that's touched me so much,
Because you care.
Though there's a million miles between us,
You're closer to me than you know.
For your kind spirit flies to the moon through the skies,
And reflects all your love with its glow.

The moon never dies, nor the love in your eyes,
Could it compare.
It comes from your soul, and makes me feel whole
When you are there.
No other love could be as thoughtful
As the love that you always show,
And I feel it fly to the moon through the sky,
And reflect down to me with its glow.
