In part one of my colored pencil creations I explained the process I use to create my pictures using the wonderful and versatile Derwent pencils.

Over the years I've tried different types of pencils but always come back to them. The set I use consists of 72 pencils and were bought in 1972. Every pencil is still quite usable and more than half of them are almost the original length, yet hundreds of pictures have been created with them. Three members of my family have used these pencils. I call this value for money.
