This is a wonderfully creative book and very handy to have on hand for when you have your older children or young teens visit. They're too old for toys but love doing the crafts offered here. They're quick and easy and best of all.....fun.
(With minimal mess...most important....*S*)

A clear cut-out window in the cover shows the tray underneath with a space for everything.

I've also got a workstation book from the same series called "Kite Making" and another one called "Beadcraft". Unfortunately once some of the supplies are used it takes away from the fun a bit but it's easy enough to replace them yourself.

The kite kit was fun and even though the next child misses out on making it, they can still fly it. The kit contained all the "bits" needed to put together a smallish plastic kite. Yes, it's got a nice long tail and it really flies. There is a lot of information and illustrations in the book about making all sorts of kites using things you find around your home.

The bead kit is beautiful. It's got enough of everything to make all sorts of jewelry and gifts. It's more sophisticated  than the kite kit so the person using it needs to be mature enough to cope with it. (8 year old boys...no, 12 year old girls...yes. Do you understand me? haha.)
