A big book loaded with hours and hours of fun. It's chock-a-block full of humor and imagination and all you need do is look and see what you can see. Best of all it's suitable for any age because you don't need to be able to read to enjoy most of it. What a bargain... and of course there's no language barrier with this kind of book either. It's a lot of fun.

Each huge double page has a cut out of an Apartment building. You can peer into their rooms and their lives and follow them through the hours of the day. Watch their crazy antics, look for the thieves and find where they've hidden the stolen items, laugh at the situations happening all around the place, read the thoughts of every character on each page with little cartoons around the sides of the page, study the pages of "Who's who in the Block" and meet the residents.....and it goes on and on forever and ever.

And I could go on for ever talking about this book but I must resist the temptation...*S*

It's one of those books that you can look at over and over again because there's so much input for your brain to absorb on each page. If you only looked at it once you'd miss out on a lot.

"Why are we stealing this? I could paint better faces" asks the thief. These two characters are very cool robbers. There can be pandemonium going on around them but that doesn't faze them at all.

This's a double page and you can see here how much detail has gone into each one. With the book open like this it's almost the size of a small poster.

There's even a Basement across the bottom of each building with a whole new sub-culture going on...haha. You must see it to believe it. Every section is different on every page and they even change size even though it's always the same building.

The "cream of the crop" in the amusements stakes.........right down the bottom of the page are cartoons of the cats and mice situated somewhere in the apartment building. You can follow the hilarious story of what the cats are saying, watch the mice move in, see a whole lot of cat and mice antics, find out how they handle the situation and watch the mice leave again in a hurry.

You never know what you may find in The Basement!
