| My "Special Book" collection started off as just a collection of Pop-up
books but over the years of looking for these wonderful books I slowly
accumulated an interesting array of books that "do" other things.
Even though the Pop-up books are the main part of the collection I've added the "others" in here to show you how diverse such books can be. I think you'll agree that most of these books are of interest to any age no matter what the gender. How can we resist the wonder and fun of a Pop-up book? While showing you my books I've been continually frustrated with the "scanning in" part. I can show you the covers. I can show you the back cover if it's got a picture of the book displayed open for you to see the inside....BUT, one thing I had great difficultly in doing was opening up the page to reveal the pop-up picture then laying it flat onto my scanner tray to capture it. Think about it....unless I squashed it down flat, it was impossible. But I still tried....haha, well......you'll see...:o) Some of these pop-up creations stick a massive 30cms (maybe more....I'll measure them) out of the page! Enjoy them....*S* |
