Poetic Voices

Poetic voices.... I hear them every day
I listen to them and what they have to say
Speaking to me with words from the heart
It's the inspiration I need to make a start
Deep inner feelings revealed to me
It's a balm to my turbid, troubled psyche
I hold out my hand to my angelic friends
And make a wish that it never ends
As long as we can share our poetic words
Our literary voices will always be heard
