When I float upon the water of crystal blue, 
A peace settles over me when I think of you, 
I find serenity. 

If I close my eyes and look within, 
And I feel my heart swell when I call to him, 
I find serenity. 

When I feel his hand placed gently on my back, 
While traveling down that new found track, 
I find serenity. 

If I hold out my hand and know he is there, 
When I feel him gently stroke my hair, 
I find serenity. 

When I'm not alone to work it all out, 
When my best friend knows what it's all about, 
I find serenity. 

If our love is pure and clearly true, 
And I go to sleep and dream of you, 
I find serenity.
