Today I spent a quiet moment
Looking into a fresh rain puddle
I was mesmerized by the reflections
Of the sun's rays as they sparkled
Water jewels merging with dappled shadows
On this little splash of paradise
I could see the blue sky above me
Rippling in peaceful tranquility
I could smell the brand new freshness
That only comes after rain
I marvelled at it's depth
As birds flew across it's view
And I wondered about the visage
Seraphically peeking back at me
