Moon Spell

In the loneliest hour of the night
Her silhouette can be seen high upon a hill
Dappled shadows of dark and darker
Edged with the moon's silvery spill
She stands with arms upraised
And her eyes glow with reflection
She chants her magical words
To enhance the moon spell's invocation
A glittering apparition appears
Shimmering with ice-hot heat
He draws her into his arms
And sweeps her off her feet
Together they swirl through the stars
Embraced in a last dance before dawn
She has enchanted the Moon man's heart
With her mystical, magic moon spell
The heat from their bodies spreads out
Splashing hues of sun rising colours
Like a wash from an artists soft brush
Across the sleepy land's horizon below them
She knows she must say her good-byes
Her last thoughts are of kisses and promises
Asleep and alone on her dew covered hill
She dreams of all her tomorrows
