Magic Castle

The frog is singing the story of his travels to the fish.

(*Must be read with a musical note to your voice,
But of course it's still really just your choice*)

Ahem ............. croooooooooooak burrrrrrrp! Ah, 'scuse me......

Plunk, plunk, plink, thunk plinnnnnnnnnnnng ..................
Oh gather round fishies and listen to my song,
Of witches and magic castles I will singggggggg..........
So come to me quickly with a gurgle and a splash,
I'll regale you with wonders from my story time cache.

Plunk, plink, plunk, plonk strummmmmmmmm.........

My name is Greenbutt and I lived in a tree,
Until one day a witch ran off with ol' me ....eeeeeeeeee,
She stuffed me into her sooty witch coat,
And before I knew it and with narry a croak.......
She'd flown us off to her magic castle up high,
Which resides on a cloud way up in the sky.

Oi....! Stop splashing about over there ......tsk, settle down!

La la de dah dah and a fiddle-dy deeeeeee.......
I can see by your look that you don't believe me,
But it's true what I say and if you'd open your eyes,
You only need look way up to the sky,
To see a magical wonderful sight,
I can even take you up there tonight.t.t.t.t....!

Pheeeeooooo! What's that smell? Don't you fishies ever have a bath!

You may scoff and you may well laugh,
But when we arrived she turned me into a harp,
So I spent my days in that magic castle up high,
Learning of ways of how to apply...yi...yi...yiiiiiiiiii........
Those musical notes and not end up in her pie!

With a fey dee day day and a fiddle-dy di di..........

'Tis true that I'd be there still if it wasn't a fact,
That the witch had offended her 'ornery old black cat,
With a meoooow wow wow wooooooooooooooooooooo........
He'd sing along with me...eeeeeeeee,
So she threw at his head her smelly old witch shoe!
Plink, plink, de plunk, plink, strumm strumm strumm oh poo pooooooo.......

Rebeeet....... who wants to sing along with me?........

Oh, fi de di di and a froggy doh doh dee..........
That cat ran away with that harp that was me,
He took me to where golden stairs met the clouds,
It was here that we heard that ol' witch screeching loud......
"Who dared to enter my magical castle and steal,
My wand and my harp?" that old witch she did squeal,
I looked at that cat with a twinkle in his eye,
With the wand he zapped me right out of the sky.........

Oh, fi fee dee di deee fi diddle-dy di di........
Oi Oi! What do you mean you don't believe me?

The End.d.d.d.d............dum de dum dah....................
