Sizzling, sweltering summer heat,
The tar is melting under my feet,
When I try and walk my feet sink in,
Heat like this has gotta be a sin!

I feel so sticky and hot I can't bare it,
It's too hot to do anything or even sit,
All I can think of is my swimming pool,
I've gotta dive in and get myself cool.

Aaaaaaaaaah ....... lovely water, it's such a treat,
I float around and splash my feet,
This's the best feeling in the world I'd say,
And I'm gonna stay here for the rest of the day.
