Two bookends with the world in between
One faces the darkness of the night
The other faces the brightness of the morn
Both lost, lonely, forlorn ........
One crying ..... I feel so sad
The other sobbing ..... don't feel so bad
You're not alone .....
I know how you feel .....
That dark gloomy place .....
May feel very real but .......
I've been there many times before 
I almost give up then someone unlocks the door
My night fills with moon beams and stars
I hear you crying from afar .....
I hand you a sun filled jar .....
Come on, open the lid
Let me tell you, I did and
Now my gloom had been banished by the rays
Now I can face another day
