~*~ Fun with Photos using Adobe Photo Deluxe ~*~
~*~*~*~*~*~

I don't know what to call this style of art. I started playing around with the special effects available in the program called Adobe Photo Deluxe then I combined a few of them together. I was so fascinated with the results that I couldn't resist doing lots of them to see how they'd turn out.

They all started off from photos of my art etc. and you may have seen most of them around my web site already. They 're abstract and some of them remind me of stained glass windows, or that effect.

The beautiful face of my mother's older sister, my Aunty Edna. The photo was taken back in the days when photos were brown and hand painted with color. At a guess I'd say the late 1930's. The colors you see in the abstract here are a result of the special effects of the Adobe program. Look at those lips ..... aren't they amazing! Her skin almost looks porcelain and the jacket she was wearing looks like fur.

I love how this one looks so much like the stained glass window effect I mentioned. It's only an illusion though because I think it would be impossible to make with all that detail. I'm no expert when it comes to Lead Lighting, but my sister Carol is. Did I mention this before? She's the leading Lead Lighter in Townsville, Qld., Australia, and very talented in her craft.

It's such fun to splash about, regardless of all she's spilt.
